Just Go Do It

This is supposed to be another riding post. Normally I would have some great insight to relay, but not a whole lot has happened this week and I didn’t have any huge epiphanies. Hwin has been going well despite still being in a saddle that doesn’t fit the best.

I may have found a new saddle and have it coming on trial. It would be great if my saddle problems were all fixed in a week or two. In the mean time I will keep training and working on fitness.

I have been debating doing a show in a couple of weeks. Am I ready? Not really sure, but I do want to just go out there and do it. I have been less ready before. My goal with Hwin at PSG is to get a 60%. I am not hoping for much more than that no matter how well prepared we are. So I figure, why not? It is a close show that I can trailer in to, so it won't be all that expensive. I am not expecting to get above 60% my first time out anyway, so may as well get out there and practice being in the show environment, which we haven't been in in two years. Who knows? We might get lucky and have the rides of our lives! You don't know until you try!
